Requirements to honeymoon at international destinations vary. Please Take Note: Effective January 8, 2007 -- the US Homeland Security Department in cooperation with the US Department of State - did start enforcing the requirement to have a Valid US Passport to enter the US from most of the Caribbean and Mexico. Only the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are excluded at this time. It takes 8 to 10+ weeks to obtain a passport -- once the application has been made. See the specifics on our Passport page. Requirements to get married offshore vary greatly as well. Some countries allow you to apply and pre-qualify by mail in advance - some do not. Requirements may include - possession of a valid US passport, submitting certified birth certificates, including notarized divorce decrees, preparing letters in Spanish -- quite an extensive list of possible requirements. Once again - anyone considering getting married on an offshore resort should contact one of our experienced agents well in advance. Our travel agents will check the regulations - for the date of your trip. We will put you in touch with the proper authorities for further discussion. You can be sure that some extra time will be required as well as some extra expense.
GBTC Travel does book with all of the popular cruise lines. You can vacation, honeymoon or get married - all, while on a cruise. And current regulations say you can cruise - without a passport! We have special connections with the major cruise lines - especially those sailing out of Florida. We can check the category availability, the price per cabin or special group rate for large parties, as well as the requirements for your special events - including weddings conducted by the Captain of the ship. Online cruise booking engines sell you cruises -- but none of them can offer the result we get by simply calling the travel agency representative at their office.
